Double use EEG equipment
Neurobit Lite can be applied as a portable, standalone neurofeedback equipment, with built-in training protocols for facilitated use. It can also be used as a wireless, computerized neurofeedback device, transmitting high resolution EEG signal to PC. The data can then undergo sophisticated, configurable processing with biofeedback software, e.g. BioExplorer. Results can be recorded on disk, presented on diagrams and feed back to the user in real time with the use of computer multimedia capabilities.
With our free application programming interface (API) it is also possible to built one's own applications for EEG processing, such us biofeedback games, software for neuropsychological research or experiments with brain-computer interface.
Wideband EEG measurements
Neurobit Lite can measure up to 1024 EEG samples per second in frequency band up to 100 Hz. Sampling frequency and bandwidth can be controlled on PC.
Low noise
EEG signal is very subtle (typical amplitude of a dozen or so microvolts), hard to measure against background noise. Neurobit Lite uses high quality, very low noise amplifier and analog-to-digital converter.

Automatic supervision of electrodes contacts
Good electrical contact between EEG electrode and the skin is another prerequisite of correct EEG recordings. To facilitate reliable measurements we built-in an advanced solution into Neurobit Lite. The device can automatically check impedances of electrodes contacts during whole neurofeedback session, without pausing EEG measurements. Too high impedence is signaled to the user.
High immunity to power mains interference
If you have already used EEG equipment, you probably well know the problem: EEG signal is often completely invisible in large power frequency interference (50 or 60 Hz). And sometimes this interference saturates an amplifier so, that you get null output signal. Avoiding the influence of power lines can be a struggle.
In Neurobit Lite we ultimately eliminated such problems thanks to very high common mode rejection ratio (CMRR) and specially designed, digitally controlled filter.
